A conventional refrigerator of this kind has a machine room 3 in which a compressor 2 is installed in the lower part of the refrigerator body 1, as shown in Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-19037-100 (Figures 9 and 10). , a machine room cover 4 is provided to cover the opening of the machine room, and
This cover 4 is provided with an evaporating dish inlet/outlet 6 and an evaporating dish support stand 7 connected to the inlet/outlet 6G, and the evaporating dish 5 inserted through the evaporating dish inlet/outlet 6 is placed on this support stand 7.
Is it shown that the evaporating dish 5 is placed above the compressor 2 and spaced apart from the compressor 2 at a position where the defrosting water of the cooler drawn from inside the refrigerator falls? With the range of content shown in this publication, there were various problems in efficiently evaporating the defrosting water drawn from the refrigerator into the cooler. In other words, in order to increase the evaporation efficiency of the evaporating dish, it is necessary to conduct heat from the compressor to the evaporating dish to raise the temperature of the water in the evaporating dish as much as possible, and to improve the convection of the air around the evaporating dish so that the heat can be transferred to the evaporating dish after evaporation. It is necessary to quickly release the moist air outside the machine room and draw in fresh air instead, but this problem of accelerating evaporation has not been mentioned much. During operation, the vibration noise of the compressor is transmitted through the refrigerator body to the machine compartment cover.
The above-mentioned publication does not mention at all whether the evaporating plate placed on the support base G of the cover may generate resonance noise in some cases.

The air sucked in through the slit 26 of the machine room cover 16 ascends through the air passage between the evaporating dish handle 24 and the front wall 18c as indicated by the arrow in FIG. The air passing through the slit 25 and sucked in through the gap 28 between the base 15 and the bottom plate 11a of the refrigerator body passes through the recess 23 provided in the evaporating dish 18 and the air vent chimney 22, and both pass through the top surface of the evaporating dish 18 and the machine. It is discharged to the outside of the machine room 14 from a gap 29 between the ceiling surfaces of the room.

At this time, in the present invention, since the slit 26 serving as the air suction port is provided below the position of the evaporation plate 18 installed on the compressor 17, all the air sucked through the slit 26 is warmed by the compressor 17 and becomes an upward air flow. Since the defrost water is discharged outside the machine room 14, the convection of the air around the evaporating dish 18 becomes good, and the evaporation of the defrosting water in the evaporating dish 18 is promoted.

Evaporation of defrosting water in a refrigerator having such a configuration is performed as follows. That is, the defrosting water of the cooler is first passed from the refrigerator interior 12 through the defrosting water conduit outlet 19 to the partition wall 18b of the evaporating tray 18.
The water is introduced into a small chamber at the top of the compressor. In this part, the bottom part 18a of the evaporating dish is in direct contact with the flexible rubber 20 with good thermal conductivity, and since it almost matches the shape of the upper part of the compressor, the water temperature is the highest in this part. The air passage is formed by the air vent chimney 22, the recess 23 forming the air passage, the totte 24, and the front wall 18c, and the slit 25 is provided on the top surface of the totte, so the base 15 and the bottom plate are connected as shown in FIG. The air sucked in from the gap 28 of 11a and the slit 26 of the machine room cover is sent to the compressor 17.
The water heats the evaporating pan 18 while being warmed by the heat dissipated, and becomes an upward air current that heats the evaporating pan 18 and is discharged outside the machine room 14 through the gap 29. As a result, the temperature of the water inside the evaporating pan 18 rises, and the water around the evaporating pan 18 (particularly the evaporation Since the convection of air on the upper surface of the related tray becomes active, the evaporation of the defrosting water in the evaporating tray 18 is promoted. Of course, at this time, the bottom plate 11a that constitutes the machine room 14
Needless to say, the fact that the ceiling surface of the building was sloped was very effective.

Furthermore, in the present invention, a slit 26 serving as an air suction port made in the machine room cover 16 or an evaporation plate 1 installed on the compressor 17 are used.
Since the position is lower than position 8, all the air sucked in from the slit 26 is heated by the compressor 17 and becomes an upward airflow that heats the evaporating dish 18 and increases the convection flow rate of the air around the evaporating dish 18, so that the air is evaporated. The efficiency is further increased.

In addition, when the defrost water in the cooler exceeds the capacity of the small chamber at the top of the compressor of evaporator 11118, it overflows to the next small chamber, so of course evaporation also occurs from this part, although the amount of evaporation is smaller than the small chamber at the top of the compressor. will be carried out.

Next, in the present invention, the evaporating dish 18 is attached to the flexible comb 2 on the compression plate.
0 and elastically supported by vibration-proof rubber 21 of the machine room cover,
tN, the vibration noise of the compressor 17 does not propagate and generate resonance noise from the evaporating dish 18 during operation of the refrigerator. Furthermore, a cut-and-raised piece 30 is provided using a part of the rib forming the slit 26 of the machine room cover, and the cut-and-raised piece 30
Since there is only one cord so that one power cord 31 can be hung thereon, the power cord 31 can be easily disposed of when the refrigerator is installed.

As explained above, the present invention provides a refrigerator in which an evaporating tray for receiving defrosting water from a cooler is installed above a compressor provided in a machine room at the bottom of the refrigerator. The evaporating dish is shaped approximately to match the shape of the evaporating dish, and is attached via flexible rubber so that the bottom part of the evaporating dish covers the top of the compressor, and an air vent chimney is provided at the bottom of the evaporating dish located above the compressor. Since the chimney G has a recess at the bottom of the evaporating pan to form a passageway, the heat from the compressor is conducted directly to the evaporating pan through the flexible rubber, and the heat from the compressor is also directly conducted to the evaporating pan through the flexible rubber. The warmed air becomes an updraft that passes through the recess at the bottom of the evaporating dish and the air vent chimney, which serve as air passages, and is discharged outside the machine room. This increases the convective flow of air around the evaporating dish, which reduces the amount of air removed in the evaporating dish. Evaporation of frost water is promoted.

In a refrigerator, an evaporation tray is installed above the compressor installed in the machine room at the bottom of the refrigerator to receive the defrost water from the cooler.
The bottom of the evaporating dish has a shape that roughly matches the shape of the top of the compressor, and is attached via flexible rubber so that the bottom of the evaporating dish covers the top of the compressor. A refrigerator characterized in that an air vent chimney is provided and a recess is provided in a portion of the bottom of the evaporating dish to form a passage for guiding air to the air vent chimney.
