Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect a data terminal device to a key telephone set of analog system by providing a data communication line to a master set in addition to a voice channel. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone set B hooks off and a specific number is dialed, its signal is detected by a control circuit 4 of the master set A via a connection line 6. The control circuit 4 actuates a channel switch relay 12 through the detection to change over the channel to the position of data path 10. A switch signal is given also to the telephone set B at the same time to actuate a channel switching relay 14 of the telephone set B thereby switching the channel to a data terminal device 17.
