Conventionally, this type of refrigerator, such as a refrigerated case or a frozen case, has a front opening that can be opened and closed with a sliding door made of transparent glass. Usually, the distance between the side walls of the groove is smaller than the vertical width of the door body, and the distance between the bottom surfaces of the groove is larger than the vertical width of the door body. Therefore, when a door body is installed between the upper and lower rails, a gap is created between the top edge of the door body and the bottom of the groove on the upper rail, and in storage rooms that are used to cool the inside, there is a large temperature difference between the inside and outside, and this gap Outside air may enter and reduce cooling efficiency,
Moisture in the outside air forms frost and adheres to the cooler, etc.
This was not desirable as it required many defrosting operations.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a refrigerator body composed of an inner box 2, an outer box 3, and a heat insulating material 4 filled between the two boxes 2 and 3, with a front opening of a storage chamber 5 formed by the inner box 2, etc.
It is closed so as to be openable and closable by one or a plurality of sliding type door bodies 8, 8 as in the embodiment, which are slidably fitted onto the upper and lower rails 6, 7 provided oppositely at the upper and lower ends of the opening. There is. This door body 8 is formed into a plate shape by surrounding the periphery of a transparent plate 8A with a frame body 8B, and has an elastic insulation piece 9 made of foamed polyethylene or the like affixed to the upper end surface thereof, protruding upward. I'm wearing it. Furthermore, the door body 8 has a vertical width L larger than the interval l between the groove side walls 6A and 7A of the upper and lower rails 6 and 7, in which sliding grooves 10 and 11 are formed, respectively, and the grooves of the upper and lower rails 6 and 7 Although the vertical width L is smaller than the distance m between the bottom surfaces 6B and 7B, the vertical width M when the insulation piece 9 is installed is the distance between the groove bottom surfaces 6B and 7B of the upper and lower rails 6 and 7. The groove bottom surface 6B of the upper rail 6 is always in contact with the groove bottom surface 6B of the upper rail 6 directly or via a sliding piece 12 or the like. The sliding piece 12 is formed of a tape-shaped synthetic resin material or the like, and covers the upper end surface of the insulation zone piece 9, and also bends both ends downward to cover at least the upper part of both end surfaces of the insulation zone piece 9. It is attached to. The upper rail 6 has one or more ribs 13 extending in the sliding direction of the door body 8 and projecting downward on the groove bottom surface 6B of the sliding groove 10. Piece 1
2 are always slidably in contact with each other. Therefore, the groove bottom surface 6B of the upper rail 6 is substantially the lower end surface of the rib 13. The storage chamber 5 has a partition wall 14 arranged at a distance in front of the back wall 5A.
A cooler 19 forming a refrigerant cycle together with a refrigerant compressor 17, a condenser 18, etc. disposed at an appropriate location such as in the machine room 16 at the bottom of the main body 1 is installed in the cold air flow path 15 formed between the back wall 5A and the back wall 5A. It is equipped. The cold air cooled by the cooler 19 is accelerated by a blower 20 disposed in the upper part of the cold air flow path 15 and discharged into the storage chamber 5 through an outlet 21 formed in the partition wall 14. After cooling the storage chamber 5, the cold air is sucked into the flow path 15 through the suction port 22 at the bottom of the partition wall 14 and circulated.

As described above, in this case, the insulation piece is attached to the upper end surface of the door body so as to protrude upward, so when the door body is fitted between the upper and lower rails, the insulation piece is compressed, and after fitting, the insulation piece is insulated. The strip elastically returns to its original state, leaving almost no gap between the upper rail and the door body. Therefore, it is possible to prevent outside air from flowing into the storage chamber when the door is closed, reducing the cooling efficiency, and preventing a large amount of frost from forming on the cooler. In addition, because the insulation strip exists on the upper end surface of the door body, the outside of the upper rail is better insulated than the inside of the refrigerator, so there is no risk of condensation condensing on the outside of the upper rail and damaging the user's clothes. There is no staining, and since the insulation piece is provided on the door body side, there is no need to provide it over the entire area of the upper rail compared to the case where it is provided on the upper rail side, and the cost is also lower. Furthermore, by covering the upper surface of the insulation zone piece with a sliding piece, the insulation zone piece will not be peeled off when the door body is opened and closed, and the frictional resistance with the upper rail will be reduced, so that the door body can be opened and closed smoothly.
