DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cable protection tube used when wiring various cables, optical cables, etc. inside and outside buildings.

When wiring communication cables, especially optical fiber cables, protecting the cables and ensuring acceptable curvature are extremely important issues.

Conventionally, a cylindrical flexible material such as a soft synthetic resin pipe has been used to protect communication cables. However, there are the following problems when wiring such as optical fiber cables using such a protective material.

1. When the protection tube is bent, it buckles at the bend. Even if a spirally corrugated tube (bellow port) that can be bent without buckling is used, it is not possible to prevent the cable from bending below the allowable curvature.

2. Wiring work is troublesome because the protective tube must be inserted from one end of the cable in advance, and if the protective tube is to cover only the necessary points such as bends or intersections, it is necessary to insert the protective tube in the number of necessary points. Special attention must be paid to the required number of protective tubes during wiring work, since additional protective tubes must be inserted in case the protective tubes are not inserted into the cable in advance.

6. When changing the wiring route of existing cables or adding cables, the protective tube cannot be attached or detached unless the cable is removed at the connection point.

In view of the above-mentioned points, the present invention provides a cable protection tube that can protect the cable and ensure an allowable curvature, and can be attached and detached from the side of the cable, thereby solving the above-mentioned problems. The drawings will be explained in detail below.

Furthermore, when these amphibatic tubular bodies 1 and 2 are rotated around the hinge part 6 in the directions A and B in FIG. They are arranged at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction so that the inner end surfaces 7, 8 on the side facing the inner end and the outer end surfaces 9, 10 on the opposite side coincide with each other. Reference numeral 11 denotes a fitting hole provided in the outer end surface 9 and inner end surface 7 of each half-ring body 6 of one half-tubular body 1, and the opening 12 thereof is formed narrowly as shown in FIG. 16 is a projection provided on the outer end surface 10 of each half-ring body 4 of the other "1"-tubular body 2; , the head 14 of this protrusion 16 has a semi-cylindrical shape.

It is preferable that the opening 12 of the fitting hole 11 has a slightly smaller dimension than the head 14 of the projection 13. In the above example, the ID fitting hole 11 and the protrusion 13 are located on the inner end surfaces 7 and 8.

Figure 4 shows a state in which the two half-tubular bodies 1 and 2 are formed into a tubular body and bent. In the bent inner part, the half-rings adjacent to each other in the row direction compress the connecting part 5 and come into contact with each other to resist the bending force, and in the outer part, the connecting part 5 stretches and resists the bending force. There is. A desired allowable radius of curvature can be obtained by appropriately selecting the longitudinal dimension t when the outer part of the connecting part 5 is extended to the maximum when bent in this way, and the longitudinal dimension t of the half-ring bodies 1 and 2. It can be made into a protection tube having R.

Figure 5 shows a case in which two cable protection tubes of the present invention are used in combination so as to be coupled oppositely. By attaching the protective tubes formed in the two cables to each cable, the two cables can be routed to the bend while maintaining a constant distance. Similarly, by alternately engaging only the semi-tubular bodies on one side of four or more protective tubes of the present invention, a protective tube that can separate six or more cables by a fixed distance can be formed. In that case, only one half-tubular body 1-1 remains on both sides, so if necessary, this can be cut out at the hinge portion 6.

As explained above, the cable protection tube of the present invention can be made such that it does not bend below the desired allowable radius of curvature by appropriately selecting the dimensions of the half-ring body and the connecting portion. Since it can be opened and closed, cable wiring can be done while covering the cable from the side, making wiring work easier. It can also be easily attached and detached from the cable after wiring, making it easier to install cables than before when adding cables or changing the wiring route 1. This eliminates the need to remove the cable at the connection point, unlike when using a protective tube, improving work efficiency.
