Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply oil uniformly to a fixing roll and control easily flowing-out of oil by pressing an oil storage vessel, where a porous elastic member is set to the bottom part, to a heat roll from the top of the heat roll to the upstream side in the rotation direction. CONSTITUTION:When an oil applying means 13 where a porous elastic member 16 is set to the bottom part of an oil storage vessel 14 is pressed to a heat roll 6, the roll 6 is much deformed in the upstream side in the rotation direction because a radius (r) of the elastic member 16 is smaller than a radius R of the roll 6, and pores of the elastic member 16 are closed, and silicone oil in not flowed out at all. 塗布でき、又ローラが停止した場合にメイル収納容器を
離接することなくオイルの流出を制御でき、シリコンオ
イルの節減と共に定着装置や紙の汚れが防止できると言
った効果が得られる。
