グカム10も同じく前進する。この時、ステップカム8
はステップ用カム溝9に係合したカムローラ11によっ
て規制され、ステップ用カム溝9に倣って前進、回転す
る。また、ステップカム8の回転によりドッグカム10
も同位相で回転し、油圧流量調整弁12を作動して油圧
シリンダ装置4への油圧流量を規制し、ドリルスピンド
ル3を切削送りに切換え、ドッグ面長さ範囲でその送り
速度を維持する。そして、リミットスイッチ13にてド
リルスピンド/I/3の前進端を確認し、クイル5を早
送り後退させるのである。このクイル5の早送り後退時
にステップカム8はカムローラ11に規制されながら回
転後退し、同時にドッグカム10を同位相で回転して次
のステップ位置に切換えるのである。このような動作を
ステップ回数分行うことにより、第4図に示すように、
前回の切削位置まで早送りして切削送りに切換えられ、
所定量の深さまで切削したところで早戻しを順次繰返し
て穴明は加工を行うのである。
