辰リーブ内のプランジャを作動させることにより、前記
溶湯を金型内に充填するようにした溶湯鍛造装置におい
て、前記金型の湯口部には、内周縁が少なくとも前記ス
リーブの内壁面に晶出する凝固層の層厚相当分該湯口部
の側面から突出するように凝固層ストッパリングが嵌装
されており、該ストッパリングはアルミニウム合金製で
あり、かつその表面は予め酸化アルミニウム層が形成さ
れていることを特徴とする溶湯鍛造装置。
