Claims

A power outage detection circuit is installed in a power supply device consisting of a switching regulator that converts direct current into alternating current by a predetermined switching means and supplies power via a predetermined transformer, and detects a power outage in the power supply device, the circuit being provided on the secondary side of the transformer. 1. A power outage detection circuit comprising a detection means for detecting a peak value of a switching pulse and a comparison means for comparing the detected force with a predetermined value, and detecting a power outage from the comparison result.
