Conventionally, eaves gutters and hard gutters with embedded metal materials have been widely used in cold regions, but elbow A that connects eaves gutters and hard gutters, etc.
Since it is difficult to embed metal material in the elbow, there are only those made of 3 synthetic resins as shown in Figure 1. Elbow A, which is made of 3 synthetic resins, is prone to breaking and cracking, and is also prone to deformation due to snow. There was a drawback.

The present invention is intended to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and its purpose is to create a substantially cylindrical core material formed by arranging two metal cylindrical core halves in an abbreviated shape. By coating with synthetic resin, it is possible to easily form an elbow with a metal material embedded in it, and since the synthetic resin layer can be reinforced with a metal core material, cracks, cracks, deformation, etc. are less likely to occur, and durability is improved. Moreover, since a small gap is formed between the opposing end faces of the two core halves, it is possible to adjust the direction of both ends, and to provide an elbow for connecting a rain gutter that can prevent separation of the core material and the synthetic resin. There is something to do.

The core half body 1 is formed by pressing a metal material such as a thin steel plate with a thickness of about 0.1 mm into a substantially cylindrical shape, and as shown in FIG. If one end surface of the two core material halves 1 is arranged in an oval shape, the opposing end surfaces form a cylindrical core material 2 having an oval shape with a small gap 12 interposed therebetween. It has become.

In order to form the elbow A, two core material halves 1 are placed on the inclined end surface 4 in the core of a mold installed in an injection molding machine.
After forming a cylindrical core material 2 having an abbreviated shape by arranging the core material 2 so that the core material 2 faces each other, a synthetic resin 3 such as vinyl chloride resin is injected into a molding mold, and both the front and back sides of the waist core material 2 are synthesized. Elbow A is formed by integrally covering with a layer of resin 3.

When constructing a rain gutter, the upper end of the gutter 9 and the lower end of the gutter 10 should be connected with an elbow A as shown in Fig. 5, or the upper end of the gutter 10 and the lower end of the water collector 11 should be connected. They are connected at elbow A.

The layer of synthetic resin 3 that forms the outer layer of the elbow A is reinforced with a core material 2 formed from two metal core material halves 1, making the elbow A less prone to cracks and cracks and suitable for use in cold regions. It does not deform even when covered with snow, improving durability.

In this invention, the metal material is bent into a cylindrical shape.
Since the two core halves are arranged in an oval shape to form a substantially cylindrical core material, the oval cylindrical core material can be easily formed from a metal material. It is possible to easily manufacture an elbow whose material is coated with synthetic resin. Therefore, the resin layer that forms the outer layer of the elbow can be reinforced with a metal core material, and the elbow will not crack even in cold regions. It does not crack or deform due to snow, etc., improving the durability of the elbow, and since the core half is cylindrical, it has good resistance to internal pressure caused by rainwater. Since the elbow is large and has a small gap formed between the opposing end faces of the two core halves, it is possible to bend the elbow through the small gap even though it is reinforced by the core material, making it easy to use in the field. The bending angle of the elbow can be adjusted according to the situation, making it easy to construct.Furthermore, this small gap can absorb the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the synthetic resin that forms the outer layer and the metal core material. It is possible to further improve durability without peeling from the material.
