ーム４を揺動自在にシリンダヘッド５に支持し、ロッカ
アーム４の一端６をブツシュロッド３に、他端７を吸・
排気弁８に接当可能にした頭上弁エンジンにおいて、ロ
ッカアーム４を全体が略舟形で底部１０が凹状の球面１
１に形成し、スタッドボルト１２をロッカアームの底面
１０から上方に貫設し、スタッドボルト１２に案内子１
４を嵌挿し、案内子１４の底面１５を球面１６に形成し
てこれをロッカアーム４の球面１１に接触させ、スタッ
ドボルト４の上端ネジ部１７に調整ナツト１８を螺合し
てロッカアーム４を案内子１４の球面１６に沿って揺動
可能に構成し、ロッカアーム４の側壁２０内に位置する
案内子１４に揺動防止具２２を付設し、この揺動防止具
の両端の位置決め壁２１をロッカアーム側壁２０に沿う
位置に固定することにより、案内子球面１６を支点とし
てロッカアームの長さ軸Ａ方向に沿つてロッカアーム４
が正しく揺動するようにした事を特徴とする頭上弁エン
