Equipped with a fixed contact plate, a movable contact plate urged to contact the fixed contact plate, and a card that works in conjunction with the armature of the electromagnetic block to drive the movable contact plate in a direction that brings the movable contact plate into contact with and away from the fixed contact plate. In the electromagnetic relay, a contact support plate is simultaneously molded at the base of the fixed contact plate and the movable contact plate, and external connection terminals are protruded from the lower surface of the contact support plate to form a contact block, and the armature is pivotally mounted. An electromagnetic block is provided that combines a chevron-shaped yoke body and a coil frame made of a molded product, and the contact support plate is positioned by a positioning projection protruding from the base of the coil frame, and a U-shaped spring is pressed against the flat surface of the yoke body.
