Claims

In a reel disk drive device of a magnetic tape recording/playback device that performs recording and playback by running a magnetic tape attached to the circumferential surface of a guide drum in a forward or reverse direction, a driving rotor, a supply reel disk, and a take-up reel disk are connected to each other. a first slip clutch capable of transmitting the rotation of the drive rotor and a first torque corresponding to the tape winding torque of the supply reel disk required when the magnetic tape runs in the reverse direction; and a torque which is provided between the first slip clutch part and the output rotating body from which rotation is output, and which is greater than the first torque, which is required when the magnetic tape runs in the forward direction. A second slip clutch section capable of transmitting a second small torque is provided between the output side of the first slip clutch section and the output side rotating body, and the first slip clutch section is provided between the output side of the first slip clutch section and the output side rotating body.
When the output side of the slip clutch section rotates in the direction of rotating the take-up reel disk in the tape winding direction, it operates in the slip direction, and in the opposite direction to rotate the supply reel disk in the tape winding direction. A slip clutch structure having a one-way clutch mechanism that is in a connected state when the take-up reel disk rotates is provided, and when the take-up reel disk is rotated, the first and second slip clutch sections are both connected. The state becomes operable, and due to the relationship between the transmittable torques of both slip clutch sections, only the second slip clutch section substantially slides, and the second torque is transmitted to the output side rotating body, and the second slip clutch section slides. When the supply side reel disk is rotated, only the first slip clutch section slips, the first torque is transmitted to the output side rotating body, and the take-up side reel disk is rotated by the second slip clutch section.
