Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove ultra-fine dust and odor from air by a method wherein a first filter having a net fixed to a frame under supersonic welding process is arranged forwardly and a second filter having active carbons enclosed by a charged net is arranged rearwardly to form an integral assembly and then installed at the part of aeration passage. CONSTITUTION:A resilient first filter 7 is made such that a woven cloth of synthetic resin thread 7a is fixed to a synthetic resin thread 7a is fixed to a synthetic resin frame 7b integral with a handle part 7c and to a grid 7d of a plurality of inner grids with supersonic welding, etc. The resilient second filter 8 is made such that the active carbons 8a are enclosed by the charged net 8b and the recesses 8c are made at the position of the outer circumferential surface where they are abutted against the grid 7e of the first filter 7. Ultrafine dusts passed through the net 7a of the first filter 7 are also absorbed by the charged net 8b of the second filter 8. The large dusts are removed by the first filter 7, so that a decreased effect of removing dusts caused by a clogging in the charged net 8b and the increased resistance of aeration are restricted. Odor in the air is abborbed by the active carbons 8a.

In electrical equipment that has a blower, such as air conditioners, an air filter is installed in a part of the ventilation path to remove dust, with a mesh made of synthetic resin threads fixed to a synthetic resin frame by ultrasonic welding. . However, this air filter has the drawback that although it can remove large dust such as cotton dust that does not pass through the mesh, it cannot remove microscopic dust such as pollen that has a negative impact on the human body. Furthermore, if there is a source of odor in a room where an air conditioner or the like is installed, there is a drawback that the air is circulated by the blower and the room is filled with odor.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. 1 is a cabinet that also serves as a casing for the blower, 2 is a blower, 3 is a heat exchanger, 4 is a dew tray that catches dew condensed in the heat exchanger, and each is stored in cabinet 1, and 5 is a decoration that covers all of these from the front. It's a cover. The decorative cover 5 integrates the suction port 5a and the discharge port 5b to form a ventilation path together with the cabinet 1, and the blower 2 causes air to flow as shown by the arrow. Reference numeral 6 denotes an air filter which is detachably attached to the back side of the suction port 5a. 7 is a flexible first filter, which is a mesh 7a made of synthetic resin threads;
is fixed by ultrasonic welding or the like to a synthetic resin frame 7b with which the handle portion 7c is integrated, and to a part of the lattice 7d of a plurality of lattices provided inside. Note that the nets 7a are not fixed to the other plurality of lattices 7e, but the nets 7d and 7eld are alternately arranged. Reference numeral 8 denotes a flexible second filter, in which activated carbon 8a is wrapped in a charged grid 8b, and the outer circumferential surface has a grid 7 of the first filter 7.
A notch 8c is provided at a position that contacts e. The activated carbon 8a may be used in the form of granules, but if the activated carbon is concentrated on one side, it may be used in the form of fibers or in the form of powder stuck to another mesh. The charging net 8b may be made of electrically woven synthetic resin thread or electrically charged non-woven fabric, but it is necessary to select a material that does not increase ventilation resistance. Here, the second filter 8
When attaching the second filter 8 to the first filter, spread the grid 7e to which the mesh 7a is not fixed, and insert the second filter 8 between the grid 7e and the grid 7d to which the mesh 7a is fixed.
When inserted to the position where they abut, they are fixed and integrated by the restoring force of the lattice 7e. In addition, the fixed integrated filter 6
To attach the filter to the decorative cover 5, insert the first filter 7 toward the front and the second filter 8 toward the rear with respect to the air flow (arrow).

According to the air filter device as described above, minute dust that has passed through the mesh 7a of the first filter 7 is also attracted to the charged mesh 8b of the second filter 8, so that it can be removed from the air. Furthermore, since large dust particles are removed by the first filter 7, the deterioration of the dust removal effect and the increase in ventilation resistance due to clogging of the charging net 8b are suppressed, and the effect can be maintained for a long period of time.

Further, since odor in the air is adsorbed by the activated carbon 8a, the air in the room is purified and a more comfortable and healthy living space can be created. Furthermore, since the lattice 7e of the first filter 7 and the notch 8C of the second filter 8 are engaged, there is no risk of the second filter 8 shifting, and if the second filter 8 becomes less effective after long-term use, the lattice 7e
Since it can be easily attached and detached by unfolding and pulling it out, it has the effect of saving time and effort in handling.

According to the present invention, the first
By integrating a filter in the front and a second filter wrapped in an electrically charged grid of activated carbon in the rear, and installing it in a part of the ventilation path, it is possible to remove extremely small dust and odors from the air. As a result, the air in the room is purified, creating a more comfortable and healthy living space, and
The effect can be maintained for a long time. In addition, since the second filter can be easily attached and detached, it does not take much effort to handle.
