本発明はハードトップ車のドア即ちサツシュレスドアに
関し、特に、コーナピースを覆うコーナピースカバーの

ち、従来のコーナピースカバー４はコーナピース８の外
形面８ａに対応する形状と大きさに作られるが、第２図
に示すようにコーナピースカバー４の内面に複数のクリ
ップ５Ａ 、 ５Ｂを一体成形し、同クリップ５Ａ 、
５Ｂをコーナピース８の取付孔６Ａ 、 ６Ｂに係止
している。しかしながら、このようなコーナピースカバ
ー４の取付構造では、実際上、コーナピースカバー４を
コーナピース８と完全に一致するように製作することが
困難なため、コーナピース８とコーナピースカバー会と
の間にすき間が形成され、コーナピースカバー４の取付
状態が不安定になり、所謂“ガタッキ“が生じてユーザ
に不安感を与えるばかりでなく、風雨対策の面からも問
題を引起こす。即ちコーナピースカバー４は、外観も勿
論であるが、ウェストライン下部４ａでは第１図示のド
アウェザストリップ７に結合され、ウェストライン上部
４ｂでは、第２図示のフロントビラー８の車体開口部の
ボディサイド・ウェザストリップ９に弾接すると共にコ
ーナピース８内のコーナピースガラスラン（図示せず）
の接触線とボディサイド・ウェザストリップ１０の接触
線を連続させる機能をも有している。したがって、コー
ナピースカバー４の′取付状態に″ガタッキ“があると
、ドアウェザストリップ７、ボディサイド・ウェザスト
リップ９、コーナピースガラスランで形成されるシール
線が不連続になり、走行中の風圧等によって雨風が車室

剛性を有する断圓高さと厚みにすればよいけれども、図
示するようにウェストフランジ１０ａの前端内側面全体
を（類うようなｍｊ ｉｉ：ｆ方向幅寸法Ｈと水平方向
長さＬとに作ることにより、ドア開時の外観を改善でき
る。ウェストフランジ１０ａに沿ってドアの前方に延び
る取付片４ｃは、その先端沓すの部分に取付孔１１を有
しており、同取付孔１１に一致するウェストフランジｌ
ｏａの固定孔１２を用いて取付片１０ａ及びウェストモ
ール１８がウェストフランジＢｏａにビス１４止めしで
ある。第１実施例におけるウェストモールのエンドキャ
ップ１３ａはナツト１５を内蔵しているから、取付孔１
１及び固定孔１１を通したビス１４をナツト１５に締付
