Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an expanded/contracted pattern with an optional value by finding out the inversion transient points and fringing points of dots and expanding/contracting vector values obtained from these points to obtain the dot pattern. CONSTITUTION:Vertical and horizontal directions are scanned to extract the inversion transient points of dots and the extracted values are stored in respective direction buffers. Data in the respective direction buffers are matched with a start point and extracted successively and the OR operation of these data is executed, so that the fringing point is found out and stored in a fringing buffer. A pattern formed by the fringing lines can be completed by connecting respective fringing points. While shifting the horizontal scanning also to the vertical scanning from the position considered as the most outer side of a new pattern, a point S (a, b) is determined. A line coinciding with the fringing line of the pattern when observed from the point S is the 1st vector and a line coinciding with the fringing line at the leading end is the 2nd vector. These vector data are expanded/contracted. While comparing the obtained pattern with an original pattern, the inside and outside of the area surrounded by the vectors are determined and the inside is painted out and the painted-out range is filled with dots to form a new pattern.

とができなかった。それはパターンを2倍に拡大すると
き、従前のドソ1〜とドツトとの間にできた隙間に新ド
ツトを埋めていくことであるが、形状が滑らかに変化し
ている所など凹凸ができて不自然になる。また整数倍の
拡大のみ可能であって、3倍半などはできない。一方縮
小するときは、ドツト自体を小さくすることはできない
ため、前述の拡大と同様な考え方ではできなかった。そ
のためドツト自体を取り除いてもパターンの外観に大き
な影響を与えない所を選び、ドツト数を減少させること
である。このやり方は従前の形に比例して縮小すること
にはならない。

報をベクトルバッファに格納し、処理済みの点は縁取り
バッファから消去して行(。ベクトルが開始点に戻った
とき、残った点があるときは、新たにベクトル作成を開
始する。
