Claims

(1) An optical unit is formed by covering the outer periphery of a plurality of fiber cores whose outer peripheries are completely coated with a primary coat with a buffer layer, and the outer periphery of the optical unit is coated with a jacket layer at the end of a multi-core bundled fiber. In the first part, the jacket layer and the buffer layer are peeled off and the exposed individual fiber cores, the buffer layer and the jacket layer are integrally fixed through a heat shrink tube.
