In a marker mounting structure for detachably attaching a separately formed marker to the outer wall surface of a transportation container, a plurality of notches are formed at appropriate positions on opposite sides of a plate-shaped marker, and a recess is provided adjacent to the notches. On the other hand, a protrusion having a plurality of locking claws whose tips are bent and extended toward the wall is provided on the outer wall of the transportation container, and the notch of the marker is fitted into the protrusion. A marker mounting structure for a transportation container, characterized in that the marker is slid along with the marker and a locking claw is fitted into a recess to lock the marker.
