A large number of shaped metal members are inserted through each engagement groove and arranged at appropriate intervals, and a hollow roller or other intermediate member is fitted inside each interval. We have proposed a type in which the entire V-belt assembly is constructed, and this is stretched between a pair of V-belts to transmit power. In this case, the metal belt is Among the plurality of metal belt members, the innermost one is press-fitted and engaged with the bottom surface in the engagement groove of each trapezoidal metal member, and a tensile force is applied thereto via the bottom surface. In such a belt, the innermost sheet is appropriately reinforced to withstand a relatively large tensile force, thereby increasing the transmission torque capacity and service life of the belt as a whole. It is preferable to do so.

。The object of the present invention is to obtain a device that meets these requirements. The present invention has an endless metal belt formed by polymerizing a plurality of relatively thin metal belt members, and a large number of V-shaped metal members. The belts are inserted through each engagement groove and arranged at appropriate intervals, and hollow rollers and other intermediate members are fitted inside the belt within each interval to form a belt assembly as a whole. In a type in which the metal plate is stretched between a pair of V-booys to transmit power between the two, a plurality of the metal plate members are connected at least to the innermost two. They are characterized by being partially welded together to bind them together.

A method in which a large number of members (2) and a large number of members (4) are sequentially and alternately arranged as a whole, and the metal belt (1) is tightened from the outer periphery. A V-belt assembly A was constructed, and this was stretched between a pair of V-boots 9+51 (51) to transmit power.

The shaped metal member (2) is to be press-fitted with the bottom surface in the engagement groove (3) and a tensile force is applied by the bottom surface, and according to the present invention, the innermost one is reinforced. At least the two innermost sheets are joined together by partial welding.

For example, the two sheets are (1!L) (1
As shown in a), the two pieces (1a) (1a) are welded and bonded to each other at multiple locations at appropriate intervals, for example, at locations a, ~machi, in the plan, and thus the two pieces (1a) )
(1a) functions together with each other to increase the tensile strength against the above-mentioned tensile force, while the binding is at multiple locations at appropriate intervals, so the two sheets ((1a) in 1) are the entire body. The bendability is not impaired as shown in Fig.
It consists of welding over the entire width at No. 4, and welding approximately half the width in the middle at each of the remaining locations, and these shall be selected and employed as appropriate. Each sheet is prepared in advance as a straight strip, and its both ends are welded together to form an endless shape. It is preferable that the welding point (1b) of one sheet (1a) is located at opposite positions, for example, as shown in the figure.

Furthermore, it is also possible to do substantially the same for each of the two or five of the outer sheets.

The tensile force applied to the belt is distributed between the two belts and can withstand a relatively large tensile force, and the belt as a whole can greatly increase its transmission torque capacity and its service life. Since it is partially welded, the bendability is not impaired, and the operation is smooth and stable.
