化率を抑制し得る加減速率設定回路を含み、前記インバ
ータに過大な電流が流れたききこの加減速率設定回路に
周波数変化抑制信号を加えるインバータの過電流失速保
護装置において、前記インバータに流れる電流を検出す
る電流検出器と、この電流検出器の出力信号を単極性に
変換する絶対値回路と、前記交流電動機の起動時および
定速運転時の過電流失速保護動作点を設定する第1の設
定器と、前記交流電動機の減速時の過電流失速保護動作
点を設定する第2の設定器と、前記運転、停止スイッチ
のオン時に前記第1の設定器の信号を、前記運転、停止
スイッチのオフ時に前記第2の設定器の信号をそれぞれ
選択して出力する信号選択回路と、前記絶対値回路の出
力および前記選択回路の出力を比較して、前記絶対値回
路の出力が前記選択回路の出力を超えたとき前記加減速
率設定回路に周波数変化抑制信号を加える比較器とを具
備したことを特徴とするインバータの過電流失速保護装
