Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent surely dew condensation in a copying machine with low electric power consumption by detecting the difference between the internal and external temps. of the copying machine with temp. sensors and starting or stopping automatically a heater for preventing condensation. CONSTITUTION:An internal temp. sensor 3 is provided in a place near an optical system and photosensitive drum in a copying machine and on the other hand, an external temp. sensor 4 is provided in a proper place on the outside of the machine. The values detected with these sensors 3, 4 are respectively amplified by amplifiers 5, 6 in a controller 9 and the difference between both temps. is amplified by a temp. difference amplifier 7 and is inputted to a temp. controller 8. A heater 2 preventing condensation is started when the external temp. rises higher than the internal temp. and conversely the operation of the heater 2 is stopped when the internal temp. rises higher than the external temp. The generation of wasteful consumption of electric power by operating unnecessarily the heater for long time is thus obviated.

れるが、このように暖められかつ湿度の尚められた空気
が複写機内に入シ込み、該空気に比較してなお相当に低
い温度の複写機内の部品に接融し、該部品上に結露を生
じることになる。このような複写機内の部品上への結露
を防止するために、通常複写機内には結露防止用ヒータ
ーが配置されていて、従来では■當時通電して複写機内
温肢を高めておく;■複写機ケ作動ζせるためのメイン
スイッチを切ったときにヒーターに通電を開始する;■
複写機内にサーミスター等を設置して磯内温紋が一定献
度以下になるとヒーターに通電するなどの方法が採られ
ている。しかしながらこのような方法では何れの場合に
もヒーターの通電時間が非常に長く、特に休日などで複
写機が長時11JJ使用ζれないようなときにもヒータ
ーに通電されているので無駄な電力消費の行われている
ことになり、これを防止するためKは操作者がヒーター
スイッチのオン/オフ操作を状況に応じて適宜管理しな
けれはならなかった。

が設置きれ、一方複写機外の適所に機外温度検知センサ
ー4が設けられる。これらの温度検知センサー6.4に
より検知された(mはコントローラ9内にるる温度増巾
装置5および6に」2つてそれぞれ増巾され、更に温度
差増巾装置7によって両者の差が増巾され、@度制御装
置8に入力さ1する。この温度制御架@は機内と機外で
温1に差を生じた場合、すなわち機内温間よりも機外温
度が旨くなった場合には結露防止用ヒーター2を作動さ
せ、逆に機外r温度よりも機内温度が高くなった場合に
は該ヒーターの作動を停止させる。複写ゆ内の温度検知
センサーは複写機内の雰囲気温度を検知すれればよいが
、その設置場所は光学系および感光ドラムにできるだけ
近い所がよいが、結露発生によ′り重大な影響を受ける
結像系の部品、例えばレンズ、ミラー、感光ドラム自体
の温度を直接検知してもよいことは勿論である。また複
写棒・外の温度検知センサーは複写機外近傍の任意の場
所の雰囲気温度を検知すればよいが、室内の暖房器の近
傍の雰囲気温度または暖房器の温度を直接検知すればよ
り迅速な応答を得ることができる。なお結露防止用ヒー
ターのスイッチの開閉を制御するための制御装置に入力
される複写機の機外温度と機内温度との差は季節によっ
ても変動するが、通常冬期では約 ℃の温度差によシ結
蕗防止用ヒーターのスイッチの開閉が行われるようにす
るのがよい。

ることがなく、またヒーターの作動・停止が自動的に行
われるのでヒーターの管理に人手を要しないという利点
がある。
