て本体の外周部に弾接して制動作用を行なうため、機器
の運転停止後の慣性回転時間は従来のものに比べ「大中
に短縮するとことができ、その結果運転停止後における
作業の安全性を確保できるとともに、慣性回転時間の設
定も弾性による押圧力の調整や接触部の材質の組み合わ
せにより任意に行なえ、さらに本発明の制動装置は他の
回転機器にも応用できる等の種々のすぐれた特長を有す
