Claims

A gas supply source and a cleaning liquid supply source are connected to a supply path formed inside the insertion section that communicates with a jet nozzle whose jet port faces the outer surface of an observation window formed on the distal end side of the insertion section. A movable piston-shaped valve body is removably attached to a switching operation device formed in the operation section of an endoscope that enables selective control of air supply, liquid supply, or mixed fluid supply of gas and liquid. A switching operation device for an endoscope, further comprising a slidable check valve attached to the valve body.
