Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) A cosmetic puff in which a liquid-absorbent core layer is wrapped and covered in the width direction with a liquid-permeable surface layer, and both lengthwise ends are hot-melted (press-bonded). The puff described above, wherein the core layer is mainly composed of a continuous filament aggregate of crimpable acetate fibers, and the fiber direction of the aggregate is oriented in a certain direction of the puff body. (2) The cosmetic puff according to claim 1, wherein the core layer is formed by substantially uniformly mixing at least 5% by weight of short cellulose fibers into the aggregate.
