LPG液化ガス貯蔵タンクの様な素単板を溶接して作ら
れる大型タンクは、建設優、構造利料の相ノヘ、板厚に
よっては溶接残留応力の除去等を目的とする全体熱処理
を行う必要がある。しかし比の種の大型タンクには、タ
ンク自体を収容し得る大型の11鈍炉は存在しないので
、屋外でこれを実施しなくてはならない。この様に堅外
熱処理は不可避としても、出来るだけ焼鈍炉で熱処理を
行う時と同じ熱履歴を与えることが望ましbので、タン
クを保@ぜで覆い、断熱することがI施され、熱処理の
目的から云って、■タンクを加熱する熱量を有効に利用
し、タンクの外へ放散せず、均一に加熱すること、■冷
却に際しては、急激に冷却しない様にすることが必要で
