    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 噴口を有する円板状の底部と該底部の外周部から立上る
    円筒状のスカート部とを有するセラミックス製チャンバ
    の外周に金環を焼嵌めしてシリンダヘッドの下面凹部に
    嵌入し、凹部の天井面とセラミックス製チャンバとの間
    に副燃焼室を形成したディーゼルエンジン副燃焼室にお
    いて、前記金環に切欠きを設け、該切欠きの高さをセラ
    ミックス製チャンバの底部と同程度とし、かつ切欠きの
    周方向長さを底部中心と噴口中心とを結ぶ直線が底部外
    周に交わる点を中心として両局方向にほぼ底部半周とし
    たことを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの副燃焼室。
