【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 1 塩化マグネシウムを溶融状態にて保持し外気から遮
断する電解槽7、この電解槽内に溶融塩浴面に対し、本
質的に垂直に配置され所要電力を供給される少くとも一
対の陽極9及び陰極10、生成する金属マグネシウムを
槽外に導くため該陰極上部に設置された流路を有する電
解装置に於いて、本質的に黒鉛にて構成された、若しく
は黒鉛から成る陽極部と鉄材から成る陰極部をもつ複合
体で構成された複数の中間電極15を陽極・陰極の各対
間に一列に配置し、且つ各中間電極の陰極として働く表
面、13の上物に金属マグネシウムの流路17を設置し
たことを特徴とする塩化マグネシウムの電解装置。 2 上記電解槽7の浴面よりも上方に該電解槽から分離
して溶融マグネシウムの貯槽19を設け、該貯槽から電
解槽浴面下に延びた導管20で該両槽を連結し、更に該
