Claims

A pump gear is pivotally supported in the gear casing via a pair of left and right metals, the space between the two metals is used as a pump chamber, and the metals are pressed against the end face of the gear (slidable in the axial direction and urged by the discharge pressure). A gear pump seal structure characterized in that a seal ring interposed between each metal and a gear casing has a rectangular cross section.
