段が問題となっていた。Conventionally, gear-type speed reducers have been widely used as speed reducers for elevator hoisting machines, but these speed reducers have the drawback of being susceptible to vibration and noise due to tooth profile errors, pitch errors, backlash, and the like. For this reason, in recent years, traction roller type reduction gears have attracted attention as they are quiet, have a large reduction ratio, and are highly efficient. In this traction roller type reduction gear, the rollers are pressed against each other with a large pressing force to prevent slipping. However, the problem was how to apply the pressing force.

In the figure, (1) is the elevator machine room, (2) is the base installed in the machine room (1), and (3) is the speed reducer installed on this base (2), which is driven by the electric motor (4). The drive is decelerated so that it can be transmitted to the drive network vehicle (5). A main rope (6) is strung around this drive net car (5), and a car (7) is connected to one end of this main rope (6), and the other end is strung around an idle wheel (8). It is then connected to the counterweight (8).

4), the planetary shaft (10) is rotated via the conical portion (16) of the drive shaft (14) and the conical portion (11) of the planetary shaft (10). The conical part (11) of the planetary shaft (lO) is at the same time the conical part (15) of the driven shaft (13).
The driven shaft (13) is in contact with the support plate (1
7) and cannot rotate, so when the drive shaft (14) is rotationally driven, the planetary shaft (10) revolves around the axis of the drive shaft (14) while rotating. The revolution causes the drive net wheel (5) to rotate as one unit.

If (13) is made rotatable so that it can be rotated at an arbitrary number of rotations, the reduction ratio can be changed continuously. Further, it goes without saying that the number of the planetary shafts (lO) installed is not limited to three.

The advantage is that the configuration can be simplified without any problems.
