部において表示する検針部と、上記ガスメータと検針部
とを光結合する光伝送路と、前記−ガスメー沙内に組込
まれガスの通流に応動する隔膜と連動する揺動部材の一
部を用いて光変調する■ 光変調手段と、前記検針
部から前記光伝送路を介して上記光変調手段に光を供給
する発光器と、前記光変調手段からの光信号を前記光伝
送路を介して前記検針部側で受光する受光器と、前記検
針部に設けられ前記受光器からの受光信号に基づいて積
算計量値を得る手段とを具備したことを特徴とするガス
