Claims

A cylindrical rotor whose rotation center line is eccentric with respect to the center line of the cylindrical casing is disposed, and vanes are passed through elongated holes provided in the peripheral wall of the rotor parallel to the rotation center line. The tip of the vane is slidably engaged with the inner circumferential surface of the casing in the circumferential direction, and rod-shaped rod-shaped rods are attached to both inner sides of the elongated hole and press against both side surfaces of the vane along the longitudinal direction thereof. In a vane type air pump in which a sealing member is disposed and the vane is constructed from a laminated plate using a large number of plain-woven glass cloth prepregs, the warp and weft of at least the outermost layer of the glass cloth on both sides are connected to the sealing member.
