After transferring the toner image onto a support material that is sent as appropriate,
The copy is completed by fixing the toner image on the support material. A thermal fixing roller has come to be widely used as a device for fixing the toner image. As shown in Fig. 1, this heat fixing roller has a heater 3 which is a heating source inside.
The upper heating roller 1 having a heater 4 installed therein and the upper heating roller 2 having a heater 4 installed therein are pressed against each other with an appropriate pressure. By passing the supporting material 6 supporting the toner image 5 through the contact portion between the rollers 1 and 2, the toner image 5 is thermally fused to the supporting material 6 and fixed.

Particularly, on the surface of the roller 1 on the side facing the toner image 5, an anti-offset liquid (for example, silicone oil) for preventing offset is supplied by a coating member 7. In order to control the amount of offset prevention liquid applied to the roller 1 by the application member 7, a control blade 8 whose tip is pressed against the roller 1 in the axial direction is provided. Therefore, the roller 1 always has an appropriate amount of prevention liquid attached to its surface by the blade 8, and comes into contact with the toner image 5 on the support 6. Generally, the blade 8 is made of Teflon rubber, which is softer than the Teflon coating layer on the surface of the heat roller 1 and has excellent heat resistance properties.

That is, even if the anti-offset liquid is applied to the roller 1 that is in contact with the toner image, a small amount of toner will adhere to the roller 1 . This adhered toner is removed from the surface of the roller 1 by the blade 8 and gradually accumulates at the contact area between the blade 8 and the roller 1. When this toner reservoir increases, the toner gets trapped between the blade 8 and the roller 1, making it impossible to control uniform application of the anti-offset liquid. Sometimes, a pool of toner slips through the blade 8 and adheres to the support plate 6, causing the toner image 5 (image).
<Objective of the Invention> The present invention provides a blade for controlling the amount of anti-offset liquid adhering to the roller surface. The purpose is to prevent accumulation.

As shown in the figure, a blade 80 according to the present invention has a Teflon layer 82 coated with Teflon formed on the surface of a blade member 81 made of Teflon rubber. As shown in FIG. 3, the tip of this blade 80 is brought into contact with the surface of the roller 1. The thickness of the Teflon layer 82 is 5~

Therefore, the lubricity between the blade 80 and the roller 1 increases, and the offset toner adhering to the roller 1 is not only ground by the blade 80 but also slips through the blade 80 little by little. Therefore, the offset toner does not accumulate at the contact portion between the blade 80 and the roller 1, but slips through the blade 80 portion in very small amounts and adheres to the support member 6. In this case, the amount of toner adhering to the support 6 is very small and cannot be visually confirmed.
It won't be any problem. Further, since there is no toner adhesion to the blade 80, it is possible to always apply the anti-offset liquid to the surface of the roller 1 uniformly.

Since the roller 1 is placed in direct contact with the roller 1, it is conceivable to increase the amount of anti-offset liquid applied to reduce the adhesion of toner to the roller 1, thereby reducing toner accumulation. In this regard, according to the present invention, the Teflon layer 82 is
Since it is formed on the surface of the toner, it is possible to prevent toner accumulation even if the amount of offset prevention liquid applied is smaller than in the past, and the amount of consumption of the offset prevention liquid can be reduced.

Since the toner is brought into contact with the roller, toner accumulation 9 is not formed in the contact area between the blade and the roller, and this prevents the image from being disturbed, and the amount of anti-offset liquid attached to the roller is always kept constant. I can do it.
