Hollow cylindrical or rod-like cylindrical shape with a gear or pulley at one end, a platen knob at the other end, a positioning groove at one end, bearings at both ends, and a recess in the center. In the platen assembly, the concave portion of the platen body has a printing surface, and sprocket pins are provided on both sides of the printing surface. Grooves for mounting sprocket assemblies are provided on both sides of the printing surface of the platen body, and grooves are provided on both sides of the printing surface. A heat-shrinkable rubber tube is provided as a printing surface in the concave portion of the platen assembly, and the sprocket assembly includes a plurality of sprocket pins formed at equal intervals on the outer periphery of the base and fitted in the grooves.
