型材の合成樹脂被覆方法に関するものである。

あつた。後者の場合は更に型材の内側と外側を異なる材
料で被覆することは不可能であつた。 本発明はかかる
従来の欠点を鑑みてなされたものであつて、その第1の
目的とするところは所望の肉厚に合成樹脂を容易に被覆
すことができる略コ字状型材の合成樹脂被覆方法を提供
するにあり、第2の目的は型材の内外側に異なつた合成
樹脂材料を同時に被覆することができる略コ字状型材の
合成樹脂被覆方法を提供するにある。

の押出口3は外側の略中央部に開口しており、また押出
口4は金型2から突出した突起部2aの先端にて内側の
略中央部に開口している。これらの押出口3、4はそれ
ぞれ通常別々の押出機などに連通させるが、一基の押出
機に連通させることもできる。尚、上記金型2内は型材
1の入口と出口にて絞られているものである。而して型
材1を金型2内に挿通し、各押出口3、4よりそれぞれ
型材1の外側と内側とに合成樹脂を供給して型材1の全
面を合成樹脂にて被覆する。このとき両押出口3、4よ
り供給された合成樹脂は型材1の開口5付近で合流する
。尚、型材1としては例えば金属製などの第4図に示す
ような長手方向に延びたものなどが用いられる。本発明
にあつては叙述のように合成樹脂の押出口を型材の外側
と内側とに開口させ、各押出口より合成樹脂を供給して
型材を被覆するので、2箇所から合成樹脂が供給される
ことになり、合成樹脂のまわりがよくなり、また押出口
から供給される合成樹脂のバランスをとりながら被覆す
ることがてきるものであつて、簡単に所望の肉厚に合成
樹脂を被覆することができる。
