Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

The lower part of the insulator body made of an insulating material is provided with a mounting part made of a conductive material for attaching the main body to a grounded structure, and the upper part of the insulator body is provided with a retaining material for an electric wire. In an insulator provided with an electric wire support, the electric wire support is made of a conductive material, and a deep groove is formed in the upper part of the electric wire support into which the electric wire can be inserted. A clamping body is attached to the top of the deep groove so as to cover the opening of the deep groove, and a part of the clamping body facing the deep groove is configured such that the tip of the clamping body is brought into contact with the electric wire to be placed in the deep groove. The base of the current-limiting element body is connected to the base of the current-limiting element body, and in addition, when an abnormally high voltage is applied to the electric wire, there is a connection between the deep groove wall surface and the tip of the current-limiting element body. A pair of unidirectional current passing elements are arranged so that a current flows toward the wall surface of the deep groove, but not toward the wall surface of the deep groove. An insulator characterized in that the insulator is electrically connected to the electric wire support through the clamping body.
