イドシルに外端縁が接合され且つ略中央部に車体前後方
向に延びるトンネル部を備えたフ゛ ロアパネルと、該
フロアパネル上に配設されたクロスメンバーとよりなり
、該クロスメンバーは、−口・形断面に形成されて車体
巾方向に延び且つその外端が前記サイドシルの前面で途
切れており、一方、前記クロスメンバー外端付近のフロ
アパネルには、サイドシルに接合された端縁から内方に
延びる下向きの凹部が形成され、前記クロスメンバーと
フロアパネルの凹部とで、トンネル部とサイドシル間に
おいて車体巾方向の金山にわたって連続した二形の補強
部が形成されていることを特徴とする自動車の下部車体
