It is desirable that the axle generator be small and lightweight, that the power transmission mechanism from the axle is simple, that it does not take up much installation space, and that it is safe and easy to maintain and inspect. As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional gear-coupled axle generator has an axle 2 that supports a wheel 1.
A speed increaser 3 made of a bevel gear is connected to the end of the vehicle, and a generator 7 is connected via a power transmission shaft 4, an intermediate bearing 5, and a rubber joint 6 parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. The intermediate bearing 5 and the generator 7 are attached to a mounting base 8 provided on the vehicle body.
The power transmission shaft 4 is covered with a fall prevention cover 9. With this structure, the speed increase ratio of the speed increaser 3 cannot be large (approximately 5), so the size of the generator becomes large, and the generator 7 must be installed offset from the position of the bogie frame 10. Therefore, the power transmission shaft 4 is longer, and in order to absorb the displacement between the generator and the speed increaser, a flexible shaft connection must be used. Therefore, the entire device occupies a large space, and in addition, there is a problem with the reliability of the flexible shaft, and if it should break, there is a risk of a major accident.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and to provide an axle generator which is small in size, does not take up installation space, and is highly reliable. To achieve this object, the present invention provides an axle generator device comprising a generator driven by an axle via a speed increasing mechanism consisting of at least one set of bevel gears supported by a casing. One end side of the casing is supported by a bearing mounting portion of a bogie frame that pivotally supports the casing, and the shaft of the large gear of the bevel gear that is pivotally supported by the one end side and the other end side is formed into a hollow shaft. A flexible shaft is arranged inside the shaft, the other end of the flexible shaft is connected to the other end of the hollow shaft, and one end is connected to the end of the axle that is visible in the bearing mounting part,
The generator is configured to be fixedly supported on the third end surface of the casing.

FIG. 2 is a front external view showing the installed state of the axle generator according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a front view of the speed increasing device in cross section. An axle 2 supporting a wheel 1 is attached to a bogie frame 10 via a bearing 11, and a vehicle body 12 is placed on the bogie frame 10 via a vehicle body support spring (not shown). An input shaft of a speed increasing device 13 supported by a bearing mounting portion of a bogie frame 10 is coupled to the shaft end of the axle 2 via a cushion joint 14 . The speed increasing device 13 supports the generator 15 so that its shaft is perpendicular to the axle 2, and its output end is coupled to the generator shaft. The input shaft 131 connected to the cushion joint 14 of the speed increaser 13 is a flexible shaft with splines on both ends, and is arranged inside the hollow shaft of the large bevel gear 132. combined. Small bevel gear 133 is large bevel gear 13
A large spur gear 135 is fitted on the support shaft 134 of the small bevel gear 133. A small spur gear 136 meshes with the large spur gear 135, and the small spur gear 136 is attached to the shaft end of the generator 15. The gears other than the small spur gear 136 are supported by a casing 137 having a two-part structure via bearings to constitute a two-stage speed increasing device, and the generator 15 is also supported by this casing 137. Lubricating oil 138 is contained in the lower part of the casing 137, and the large bevel gear 1
The gears are lubricated by splash lubrication caused by the rotation of 32. According to the present invention, since the entire generator device is installed inside the casing with the generator fixed to the end face, the device is not only small and compact, but also easily removed from the bogie frame as it is. It has the effect of being removable and making maintenance and inspection easier. Of course, the effect is that only the generator can be easily attached and detached. Generally speaking, regarding shaft runout, the tolerance between the casing and the bevel gear shaft must be much smaller than the tolerance between the bogie frame and the axle end due to the difference in the mechanical scale of each. No.

Therefore, shaft runout between the bogie frame and the axle end occurs shockingly and with a large allowable value due to shocks caused by coupling, ejecting, or running the vehicle. This influence between the shaft and the shaft must be avoided at all costs. According to the present invention, in particular, the flexible shaft is arranged inside the hollow shaft, so that the first effect of not requiring any extra space and having a compact structure is maintained, and the impact is absorbed. The second effect is achieved. Of course, it is better to use a cushion joint in addition to the flexible shaft as in the embodiment, and in this case the flexible shaft can be connected to the end of the axle simply by approaching it in the axial direction.
