Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a vibration after equipping of a roll paper and prevent said paper from coming off a holder by providing an engaging part, which engages with a cover in a condition of closing a roll paper cover, in a large diameter part of a movable arm in a printing device with a roll paper holder. CONSTITUTION:A small diameter part 13 at one end of a movable arm 12 for a roll paper 20 is fitted to a guide wall 14 of a main body case 8, while the tip end 15 of said diameter part 13 is formed like a hook and determines limits of movement of the movable arm 12 in B direction. Under a condition of opening a roll paper cover 9, the tip of a fixed arm is fitted in one fitting hole of the roll paper 20, and subsequently, a projection part 19 of the movable arm 12 is fitted and held in the other fitting hole by elastic force of a spring 18. The roll paper cover 9 is closed in this condition. Thus, when the movable arm 12 moves in A direction, since its engaging projection part 16a is engaged with a side wall 9a of the roll paper cover 9, the roll paper 21 is not moved even if the force in A direction is applied on it and there is no fear of the roll paper coming off a position of equipping.
