In a boiler in which a economizer, a horizontal superheater or horizontal reheater, and other heat transfer devices are installed in the order from below in the rear flue, the economizer and horizontal superheater or horizontal reheater are installed. A boiler characterized in that it is supported by an intermediate header of a horizontal superheater or a horizontal reheater via a serpentine, and other heat transfer devices are supported by hanger pipes connected to the intermediate header.
