Abstract

PURPOSE:To exactly exhaust toxic gas from an ink pad portion by connecting plural exhaust ducts to the opening of the ceiling plate of a flat-plate hood through a separator for gas and ink. CONSTITUTION:A long opening 13 is drilled in the ceiling plate 7 of a flat-plate hood and connected to a gas-liquid separation chamber 14 where gases are separated from ink and also led to a discharge chamber 16 through plural small- diameter exhaust ducts 15. When a suction fan on the downstream side of the main duct 17 is actuated, toxic gases in and near an ink pad 5 surrounded by closed walls 11 and 12 are discharged effectively to the main duct 17 through the opening 13 and the ducts 15. Ink leaked is separated in the gas-liquid separation chamber 14 and recovered in an ink receiving box 18. The operability, maintainability and inspectability of the printer can be raised.

In order to improve workability, conventional local exhaust systems employ a downward suction system in which a bit is recessed in the machine installation surface and a grid is attached to the opening of the pit, and a downward suction system is used to draw air into the pit, or a It was a side suction type with a suction duct inlet.

This allowed air to be taken in efficiently from the entire Ink Paso I-(102), and there was no need to increase the wind speed. However, since the suction duct (103) is located on the working side, it obstructs the operator's field of view, which has another disadvantage of poor workability. In order to solve the above problems, a double hood type as shown in FIG. 2 has recently been developed. This is done by installing a hood (105) on the ship's wall using an elevating mechanism (10G) so that it can be raised and lowered by 4 mm, and attaching a duct (105) to the side of the hood (105).
7) is configured to be detachably attached. Although such a configuration is considered to be optimal because it can uniformly suck the ink from the entire opening area of the ink cartridge 1-(102), the following problems still remain.

First, when replacing the cylinders (100), (101) and ink cartridge (102), after removing the duct (107) from the hood (105),
The disadvantage is that the hood (105) must be lowered, which reduces work efficiency. Further, when the ink vat (102) is taken out, ink tends to leak, and this leaked ink may accumulate in the hood (105). In this case, since a flow rate adjustment plate is provided on the surface of the hood (105) to equalize the amount of suction air, cleaning the leaked ink is also complicated, resulting in a decrease in the operating rate.

At the lower end of the gas-liquid separation chamber (14), an ink receiving box (18) is installed in the form of a drawer so that it can be taken out to the outside, facing the opening (13), and is connected to the discharge duct (15). Sekiguchi (15a) is provided above this ink receiving box (18). Further, (19) is a guide plate for exhaust gas disposed on the side of the communication gate (15a), and serves to bend the flow line of the gas into a U-shape.

In the above configuration, by driving a suction fan (not shown) provided on the downstream side of the main duct (17),
This suction force allows the toxic gas near the ink bath T-(5) to be discharged toward the main duct I-(17).

Therefore, since the ink path (51) is surrounded, streamlines are formed to bend the toxic gas released from the ink vat (5) downward from the upper end surface of the ink vat (5). The gas-liquid separation chamber (14) can be efficiently sucked while drawing.

In the gas-liquid separation chamber (14), overflowing ink induced into the exhaust gas flow and ink leaking when the impat (5) is removed are collected in the ink receiving box (18). This is because a guide plate (19) is provided inside the gas-liquid separation chamber (14), so that when the ink flows downward during inflow, only the ink stays in the ink receiving box (18) due to inertia based on the mass of the ink droplets. This is because the 1-no-1 gas flows around the guide plate (19) and continuously flows down to the discharge duct (15).

As described above, all the ink flowing down along the exhaust gas flow is captured in the gas-liquid separation chamber (14), so it does not reach the downstream side of the exhaust duct (I5), and the flow path due to curing is prevented. No shrinkage occurs and reduction in suction ability can be prevented.

Furthermore, since a plurality of discharge ducts (15) are provided and an opening (13) is provided in the hood top plate (7) so as to extend approximately the entire length of the ink vat (5), uniform suction can be achieved. can. Since the pipe diameter of the discharge duct (15) is small, the cylinder +21. When replacing the +31 and the ink vat (5), the hood top plate (7) can be easily lowered, improving work efficiency. Since this discharge duct (15) is made of a small-diameter flexible pipe, even if the elevating mechanism of the top plate hood (7) is complicated, the piping can be sewn to improve installation workability. You can also do it.

Moreover, the height dimension of the connection side of the discharge duct (1-H5) of the discharge chamber (16) is formed to be small, so that it can be inserted into the bottom area of the gravure printing machine, thereby reducing the capacity of the apparatus. It can be easily adapted to any type of machine.
