PURPOSE:To view a liquid crystal picture by enlarging and projecting if required, by intervening a small-sized liquid crystal TV picture plane in the optical path of a small-sized projector containing an optical system for enlarging image. CONSTITUTION:A white light source 6 and optical lens system 7 are provided inside the box body 4 of a projector and a liquid crystal TV picture 5 is contained between the optical lens system 7 and an enlarging lens system 8. Under this condition, the liquid crystal picture passes the light of the light source just like a slide film and the light is projected upon a screen 10 by means of the enlarging lens system 8.
