Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

It is equipped with a rotating lever that is biased to rotate in one direction following the rotation of the reel stand, and a control lever that reverses the running direction of the tape when the biasing force of this rotating lever is lost at the end of the tape. A direction switching mechanism for a reverse type tape recorder, wherein the rotating lever is held at a predetermined position against the biasing force by energization, and thereby the direction of tape running is reversed by the control lever.
