Claims (1)
回転するピニオンと、このピニオンにかみ合ったラック
歯を有し、ピニオンの回転に連動してラックハウジング
内を往復動作するラックバ−とを備えたラックアンドピ
ニオン式ステアリング装置であって、これらピニオンと
ラック歯とのかみ合い反力を受ける位置においてラック
ハウジングのガイド孔内にスライド可能に組み込まれ、
かつラックバ−の往復動作を案内すべくその背面を受承
しているラックガイドを板状弾性素材の塑性加工によっ
て形成し、このラックガイドにおいて前記のガイド孔に
スライド可能に嵌合する胴部の外径をガイド孔の内径よ
り大きい寸法に設定するとともに、この外周の一部には
胴部の縮径可能にスリットを形成したことを特徴とする
