By the way, cylinder blocks generally require a certain degree of strength due to the reciprocating movement of the piston inside the cylinder block, so the material used for the cylinder block is, for example, cast iron.
Further, the material of the cylinder head is made of, for example, aluminum alloy in order to reduce the weight of the engine itself or improve heat dissipation. However, in the above-mentioned conventional camshaft bearing structure, when the two parts tend to thermally deform each other in the longitudinal direction due to the heat generated during engine operation, the cylinder head is generally made of a material with a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the cylinder block. Because of this, it is thermally deformed into a convex shape while fixed to the cylinder block, and this deformation causes the bearings provided at both ends of the cylinder head to tilt outward, relative to the axis of the camshaft. This causes the axial center of the bearing hole of the bearing to shift, causing local contact between the bearing hole and the camshaft, resulting in uneven wear. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and includes forming a bearing that pivotally supports a camshaft provided in a shilling head by a plurality of bearing parts and a connecting member that integrally connects each of the bearing parts. A camshaft bearing structure is provided in which the cylinder head is supported through an elastic member, and the elastic member prevents thermal deformation of the cylinder head from being transmitted to the bearing.

以下本発明を図に示す実施例に基づいて詳細に説明する
The present invention will be explained in detail below based on embodiments shown in the drawings.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, a camshaft 3 is disposed within a cylinder head 2 made of a material with a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the cylinder block.
is a plurality of bearing parts 4a, 4a, 4a and each bearing part 4a.
, 4a, 4a are integrally connected by a bearing 4 formed by coupling members 4b, 4b.

Reference numeral 5 denotes an elastic member made of, for example, silicone rubber, acrylic rubber, or the like into a gasket shape or plate shape, and supports the bearing 4 on the cylinder head 2 via the elastic member 5.

That is, a bolt 8 is inserted into a bolt hole 6 passing through the bearing 4, the elastic member 5, and the cylinder head 2 via a cylindrical smoother 7, and the bolt 8 is secured to the cylinder block 1, thereby attaching the bearing 4 to the cylinder block 1. It is elastically supported on the head 2. The cylinder head 2 itself is attached to the cylinder block 1 in the conventional manner using bolts 9 different from the bolts 8 mentioned above.

In order to increase the strength of the integrally connected bearing 4 itself, it is preferable to incorporate reinforced steel.

Also, the valve clearance changes with thermal deformation of the cylinder head, but it is preferable to adjust the valve clearance using a known hydraulic valve (not shown). As explained above, according to the present invention, the thermal deformation of the shear jet head is absorbed by the elastic member provided between the shear jet head and the integrally combined bearing, so that the thermal deformation of the shear jet head is absorbed by the integrally combined bearing. This prevents the bearing in the cylinder head from coming into contact with the camshaft supported by the bearing. Uneven wear can be reliably prevented.
