Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the yield of a treating agent by projecting the tip part of a molten iron spout over a tilting spout in the form of a tightly sealed box, piercing a hole for dropping molten iron in a part of the bottom of the molten iron sppout just above the central part of the tilting spout, and attaching a chute through which the treating agent is dropped to a spout cover over the hole. CONSTITUTION:A tightly sealed box-shaped spout 9 is attached to the tip of a molten iron spout of conventional type so that the spout 9 is projected over a tilting spout 2. A hole 10 for dropping molten iron is pierced in a part of the bottom of the spout 9 just above the central part of the spout 2. A treating agent charging chute 5 through which a treating agent is dropped toward the hole 10 is attached to a spout cover 4 over the hole 10.

Currently, many methods are used to reduce the unit consumption of treatment agents in the steelmaking process by pre-treating hot metal before sending it to the steelmaking process. In that case, the preliminary treatment is, for example, as known from Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-21R, by injecting a hot metal treatment agent into the hot metal flow being led to the pig iron mixer car or the pig iron receiving ladle, without using a special reaction tank. It makes the most sense from an economic and throughput standpoint to do so. Therefore, conventional attempts have been made to introduce a hot metal treatment agent into the hot metal flow from a treatment agent input chute in an open state as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

In the figure, the treatment agent 7 is introduced into the surface of the flowing hot metal 6 in the middle of the hot metal trough 1 from the treatment agent injection chute 5 in an open state. The slag 8 and the like produced during this process adhere to the side surfaces of the hot metal trough 1, and the grown reaction products block the molten pig iron trough 1, so there is a drawback that equipment such as a slag scraping device is required. In addition, in order to solve this drawback, the location where the processing agent is introduced from the chute 5 is changed to the molten metal sluice 1, as shown in Figure 2.
The treatment agent 7 was introduced into the hot metal 6 by changing the position from where it falls from the tip to the tilting gutter 2, but normally, at this injection position, when the hot metal 6 falls into the tilting gutter 2 so as to cover the charging chute 5, Since there is a device 4 for preventing dust generation, the fine-grained processing agent 7 included in the processing agent introduced is sucked together with the gas collected by the device, and this method has the disadvantage that the loss of the processing agent 7 increases. .

FIG. 3 is an explanatory schematic diagram of the apparatus of the present invention, in which a box-shaped gutter 9 sealed in a box-like body is placed at the tip of the conventional hot metal gutter 1 shown in FIG. 1 or 2 in a position above the tilting 1Ji2. At the bottom of the box-shaped gutter 9, there is a hot metal falling port (hereinafter referred to as a nozzle) 1 located directly above the center of the tilting gutter 2.

The inner diameter of this nozzle 10 is set to an appropriate diameter so that a vortex flow depression H is created directly above the nozzle 5 based on the expected tapping speed, but in the event that the nozzle 50 becomes clogged or the tapping speed suddenly increases Hot metal gutter 1 or box type gutter 9 to be concerned about
In this embodiment, a temporary hot metal outlet hole 11 is bored on one or both sides of the box-shaped gutter 9 in preparation for an overflow of the hot metal 6 from the hot metal.

In order to repair the one-box type gutter 9 itself and the tilting gutter 2, in this embodiment, the conventional gutter 1 and the box-type gutter 9 are replaced with the turbine 1.
2, and supports the tip of the box-shaped gutter 9 with the frame 1.
3 to allow the 5-box type gutter 9 to be attached and detached. Furthermore, the box-shaped gutter 9, especially the part inside the dust collection hood 4, was covered with a monolithic refractory with studs, since there is a risk of the temperature becoming high due to the ambient temperature and radiant heat. In addition, to prevent scattering of the treatment agent, the box-shaped gutter 9 is a gutter 14 that has been heat-resistant treated.

A box-shaped gutter 9 is installed in the processing agent input chute 5 as shown in FIG.
If a vertical section is provided directly above the hot metal trough 19, the treated treatment agent 7 will fall accurately into the depression H of the molten metal 6.The molten pig iron 6 flowing from the furnace or the like will pass through the molten pig iron gutter 19 and the box-shaped gutter 9t, and then directly above the nozzle 10. It forms a depression H and falls into the tilting gutter 2, and at that time, the surge hopper 15. Void meter 16.
The processing agent 7 is introduced through the transport belt 171 and the throwing chute 5, and the processing agent 7 introduced into the recess H is rolled into the hot metal 6' and undergoes various reactions while falling into the tilting gutter 2 together with the hot metal 6'. The various reactions are further promoted by the dropping and the stirring action accompanying the dropping from the tilting runner to the pig iron mixer car, and the pretreatment of the hot metal is effectively carried out.

Next, an example in which preliminary processing is performed using the apparatus shown in FIG. 3 will be described. The inner diameter of the nozzle 10 is 300 m,
The distance between the tip wall surface W in the box-shaped gutter 9 and the center position of the nozzle 10 was about 1.0 m, and converter dry dust was introduced as the hot metal treatment agent 7 at a rate of 5 to 35''/@.

As is clear from the above treatment example, the present invention apparatus solves the problems described above in the conventional case where a treatment agent is poured into the flowing hot metal in an open state, namely (a) the slag of the hot metal gutter caused by the slag produced by the reaction; (b) It is possible to solve both of the problems of treatment agent loss due to dust collection around the tilting gutter. Moreover, there is a lot of contact with hot metal,
The efficiency of reactions is significantly improved.
