Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a telephone set by arranging freely foldably a phate of hinge structure to a cover under a telephone set main body to vary the fitting angle when a telephone set is used as desk top mounting. CONSTITUTION:A plate 13 is accommodated in a concaved part 12 formed to a bottom face of a lower cover 11b of a telephone set main body 11 of a telephone set 10 in common to desk top mounting and wall mounting. A shaft part of cylindrical form is formed at four corners of the plate 13, a thin part 13a is formed nearly at the center of the plate in parallel with the axial direction of the shaft parts 14, and the thin part 13a is used as a folding line so that the plate is folded to an optional angle. In using the telephone set 10 as desk top mount, the shaft parts 14 of the plate 13 are inserted and supported to bearing parts 16 and 18 formed on the surface of the main body 11 respectively. The plate is supported by the bearing parts 16 and 18 by using the thin part 13a of the plate 13 as the folding line to fold the plate by a prescribed angle theta1 in this case.
