マルインクリボン及び色素別印字情報により制御される
サーマルヘッドを備え、前記サーマルインクリボンの色
素を前記サーマルヘッドの発熱に応じて印字用紙に選択
的に熱転写させるようにした熱転写形カラープリンタに
おいて、前記サーマルインクリボンを送り動作させる送
り機構と、前記サーマルインクリボンの色素の位置を検
知するためのカラーセンサと、前記色素別印字情報を読
み込んだときのみ前記カラーセンサの出力に基づいてそ
の読み込み色素別印字情報に対応した色素のうち前記サ
ーマルヘッドに最も近いものの先頭部分を該サーマルヘ
ッドに対応させるように送り動作して頭出しを実行する
