Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head device with ease of manufacture and high reproducing efficiency by increasing the size of a magnetic short-circuit piece fitting part more the size of a face opposite to a medium in a magnetic substance of nealy I-shape of a recording/reproducing core and an erase core. CONSTITUTION:A nonmagnetic auxiliary plate 5 of a core 1A of nearly L-shape and a core 1C of a nearly inverted L-shape is bonded by glass or the like and a bonded part of the cores 1A, 1C forms a recording/reproducing head gap 3. The bonded part of the core 1C of nearly inverted L-shape and the nonmagnetic auxiliary plate 5 is independently of recording/reproduction. The sizes l1 and l3 of the core 1C of nearly inverted L-shape have the relation of l1<l3 and the size of medium opposite face l1 is smaller than that of the fitting part l3 of the magnetic short-circuit piece 6. ギャップを具備する磁気ヘッド装置に関し、特に高密度
記録が可能で記録再生効率の高い磁気ヘッド装置に関す
るものである。

回転する磁気記録媒体上で、磁気ヘッド装置をその径方
向に移動させ順次信号を記録再生する装置が実用化され
ている。前記磁気ヘッド装置は、ステッピングモーター
、リニアモーター、油圧ザーボ等により移動させるが、
その移動間隔は必ずしも正確ではなく:多少の狂いを生
じる。そのため他の装置で記録した磁気記録媒体を再生
する場合トラックずれが生じ安定な再生が望めないこと
がある。そこで記録再生へラドギャップを有する記録再
生用コアに消去用ヘッドギャップを有する消去用コアを
組み合わせ、記録したトラックに隣接した端部を正確に
消去する方法が提案されている。
