Claims

A music selection knob has a movable arm piece attached to the lower end of the vertical axis on the proximal side of the arm that has a cartridge at its tip, and has an actuation piece that operates a cueing gum for pushing up a cueing member and a contact member that operates the movable arm piece at its tip. The lever is configured to be operated by a music selection knob from the front of the record player, and when the music selection knob lever is pushed by the music selection knob, the actuation piece and the contact member can come into contact with the cueing cam and the arm movable piece. A music selection mechanism for a record player is constructed as follows, and can be rotated around a shaft that fits into a long hole provided in an intermediate portion in the front-rear direction by sliding the music selection knob from side to side.
