Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure such a centrifugal fan as being noiseless and excent in the working ratio, by beinding the outer end of a fan blade installed in position between two fan side plates to run along a tangential line of the fan circumference in a reverse rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal fan 12 is constituted of two fan side plates 13 and each fan blade 14 carring curvature and installed in radial form between these fan side plates 13, while an outer end 15 of the fan blade 14 is bent in a reverse rotating direction and yet in a tangential direction of a fan circumference 16. A flow of air goes along the fan blade 14 and the fan circumference 16 so that no vortex is formed rearward the fan blade 14, thus a noise is reduced.
