Normally, an electric boiler heats the entire can of water and generates steam by placing a pipe heater with nichrome wire enclosed in the water in the pipe through an electrical insulator such as magnesia, in the lower part of the water inside the boiler.・For this reason, it takes a long time for steam to form bubbles from water, and a large amount of heat calories must be given to the water.

This invention aims at heat economy by placing a pipe heater just below the water surface and heating only the water necessary for evaporation to generate steam in a short time, without heating excess water.

This invention will be explained based on the drawings. Figure 3 shows Niku p-
There is a plan view of a pipe heater 3 in which electric heating pipe heaters each containing a coil wire are arranged side by side, penetrate through a flange 14, and are welded to the flange 14. A temperature sensing element 5 is attached to all of these pipe heaters to monitor overheating prevention by contacting them. Figure 1 shows a can body 1, a pipe heater 3,
FIG. 3 is a plan view of the assembled water level adjustment tube 6 and water supply pump 11, and is a side sectional view taken along line A-A' in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the pipe heater 3 is attached to the can body 1 at a position where it is submerged just below the water surface. In this case, the supporter 1 is installed to keep the pipe heater 3 in place so that it does not warp due to heat generation when energized, protrude above the water surface, or sink deep into the water surface.

The can body 1 is connected to an outlet 13 for generated steam and a pump 11 for replenishing evaporated water through a water supply pipe 12. Further, the water level adjustment tube 6 which controls the water level adjustment is equipped with an ice water level electrode 10 and a low water level electrode 9, and the high water level electrode 10 senses when the water level rises and comes into contact with the water surface and stops the operation of the pump 11. . In other words, the electrode 9 and the electric current 10 have the role of keeping the water level of the boiler constant at all times. In addition, the overheat prevention thermosensor 5 attached to the pipe heater 3 is designed to protect against overheating in the unlikely event that the pump 11 malfunctions. When the boiler water becomes depleted, it is sensed and the power supply to the pipe heater 3 is cut off to prevent overheating and burnout.

To explain the operation of the boiler configured as above, first, the pump 11 is activated and canned water 2 enters the can, the water level rises and reaches the point where the pipe heater is placed. reach At this time, the high water level electrode 10 of the water level adjustment cylinder 6 senses the water level and stops the pump 11, thereby stopping the water supply. At the same time, the pipe heater 3 is energized and generates heat to heat the surface of the canned water 3 and generate steam. When the canned water 2 evaporates and the water level falls, the water level of the water level adjustment tube 6 also falls, and the low water level electrode 9 moves away from the water surface. When the low water level electrode 9 leaves the water surface, the pump 11
operates and starts supplying water into the can. When the water level of the canned water 2 rises due to water supply, the water level of the water level adjustment cylinder 6 also rises and contacts the high water level electrode 10, and the pump 11 stops water supply. Meanwhile, the pipe heater 3 is energized and generates heat, so steam is continuously generated.

As explained above, this invention allows the boiler to rapidly generate steam, and heats and evaporates only a small amount of water near the water surface, so there is no need for extra heat loss, and the boiler only needs a small amount of water. The can body can be made smaller, which has the effect of reducing boiler manufacturing costs in addition to saving heat and time.
